3 places in Tokyo where you can go out with your dog

Walking with your dog is a very important time to strengthen your bond.

However, I started memorizing the directions and got stuck in a rut.
Aren't you bored with the same courses all the time?
I want to give you many more experiences.

Do you ever feel like this?
Walking is an important time, but it tends to become a routine.

In fact, dogs who spend their days in the same way are at increased risk of developing dementia.
Nowadays, the lifespan of dogs has increased, with many dogs living up to 20 years of age.
You want your beloved dog to stay healthy until the end.

While taking daily walks as important, try introducing new things to give your dog some stimulation.

  • Kasai Rinkai Park
  • Musashi Mitake Shrine
  • Dog Cafe Petitien

Here we will introduce three places in Tokyo where you can go out with your dog. |
Please try going out to places that your dog will enjoy.

Kasai Rinkai Park

Kasai Rinkai Park

Kasai Rinkai Park is famous for its large Ferris wheel.

Even if you walk your dog all day in a park larger than Tokyo Disneyland, you may still feel like you haven't walked enough.
The walking course is lined with many seasonal flowers, so why not take a photo of your dog with the flowers?

As you continue down the road, Tokyo Bay stretches out in front of you.
Relax with your dog while looking out at the ocean. It's the best location.

If you get tired of walking, relax at a dog-friendly cafe and watch the sun set over the sea before heading home.
How about a day like that?

These two cafes are dog-friendly cafes with terrace seating.
Please stop by and check it out.

Musashi Mitake Shrine

Musashi Mitake Shrine

This is a shrine where the Japanese wolf that saved Yamato Takeru no Mikoto long ago has been enshrined as a dog through the ages.

At this shrine, you can pray for the health of your dog.
However, the road to the shrine may be a little difficult.

First, take a ride on the cable car with your dog and enjoy the scenery.
Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the changing leaves in the fall.

Once you get off the cable car, you will find a well-maintained approach path.
There is a teahouse along the approach and a drinking fountain for dogs, so take a break and walk.

After passing the slope, 330 steps of stairs await you.
The stairs are steep, so please go up slowly and don't push yourself too hard. A brave Japanese wolf guardian dog will make an appearance.

Prayers for your dog can be accepted at the shrine office. You don't need to make a reservation, so it's nice that you can just ask.

In addition, there is an ``inugata dai'' at the awarding office.
This is a blessing that will help you purify your dog.

Please write your dog's name and pat it all over its body. It is said that if you do so, the bad things will be transmitted to Katashiro. On the way home, going down the stairs is a big burden for your dog. For small dogs and senior dogs, please hold them as much as possible.

dog cafe petitian

dog cafe petitian

Petitien is a dog cafe located in Machida City where dogs are welcome.

There are approximately 40 seats under the high open ceiling, creating a comfortable space where dogs and owners won't feel stressed.

There are 12 parking spaces available, so it's recommended for dogs who don't like trains or for those who live far away.

Inside the store, there are photo spots that change depending on the season, so you're sure to get even cuter photos of your cute dog.

In addition, the loft seats and outside terrace seats can be reserved for private use by making a reservation, so they are recommended for children who don't like other dogs or for small gatherings.

There are many cafe menus as well.
We recommend the classic Neapolitan. The noodles are chewy and filling.
Also, the best part is that all of the dog menus are free of seasonings and additives. It's made with only natural materials, so you can rest assured.

If it's crowded when you arrive, why not take a stroll through the nearby Yakushiike Park?
It's about twice the size of Tokyo Dome, and surrounded by lots of greenery, where both dogs and their owners can feel refreshed.

There are many dogs in the room, so please be respectful and have a wonderful time.
